- Faith and Practice statement
We believe in God the Father who sent His son, Jesus Christ, to die for us and to give us a path to blossom as a whole person after His own image that we may be united with Him.
We believe Jesus rose from the dead that we, who believe in Jesus, may also rise. We believe that Jesus will return. We believe that the Holy Spirit has been sent to the believer as a guarantor and teacher in the believer’s new life. We believe that the Holy Spirit is guiding us in the path of maturity and union with God.
- Moral Commitment
Faculty, staff, and students of Shalem International University are expected to embody Biblical, Christian principles in their lives and actions, and so exercise discernment in all areas of life and conduct.
- Community Agreement
Shalem International University values the maintaining of certain behavior standards that contribute to the atmosphere on campus, fosters fellowship with a wide range of Christians and, in many instances, assists in strengthening our Christian testimony to our community. Shalem International University asks its students and employees to be supportive of this behavioral standard. Shalem International University reserves the right to dismiss a student or staff member who, in its judgment, does not conform either to the stated regulations governing student and staff conduct or to the expressed principles, policies, and programs of the university.
- Non-Discrimination Policy
Shalem International University does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin or gender n administration of its policies and programs.
- Transcripts and Records
All financial obligations to Shalem International University must be met before any transcript, diploma or certification is issued. Transcript requests must be submitted in writing, dated, signed and paid for by the student. Verbal requests for transcripts are not accepted. Personal records are kept on file for a minimum of 7 years. Shalem International University transcripts are held for 50 years.
- Changes in the Catalog
Shalem International University reserves the right to revise information in the catalog as necessary, including changes in curriculum, personnel, procedures, policies, and fees. Shalem International University is subject to any and all changes requested by the State of California as represented by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education or by the Federal Government. Shalem International University is licensed by the Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education which is the state body legislated to approve degrees. Changes will be noted as catalogue addendums on the Shalem International University website if they occur before the publishing of the next year’s new catalog.
